General Summary:
Spike, Jet, Faye, and Ed and a team of bounty hunters traveling through space on a ship called the Bebop. Mainly driven by money and a small since of justice the team works together (sometimes) to bring down their targets.
Further into the story (minor spoilers):
Spike is a former mafia member and with his close friend Vicious they ruled with a iron fist. After being betrayed and almost dying he decided to walk away. Later in the series his past comes back to hunt him. Jet is a former police officer that retired due to a mob hit that cost him his arm. Faye is a victim of a terrible accident during early space exploration. She was put into cryostasis and revived decades later. In part of the series she decided to investigate her past because of her memory lost. Edward is a young computer hacker from Earth. With a strange past and personality Ed completes the mismatched crew of the Bebop.
Final Thoughts:
I love this classical anime and this was the show that started my interest into anime. The show has everything from action to drama, comedy to romance, western to noir, and everything in between. The music is amazing, and I still revisit the show from time to time.

BTOOM! First Impressions
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iDtW4D7uLTI#!
General Summary:
Ryota Sakamoto is a 22-year old gamer and is one of the elite players in a first person shooter game called BTOOM! Think of the game like Master Chief (from halo) look alikes that fight with a various array of grenades. One day Sakamoto wakes up on a tropical island with a case full of what looks like bombs from the game.
Further Look Into The Story (SPOILERS):
The game makers of BTOOM! are seeking to either improve or find a new entertainment gateway for their product. To do so they take people put them on the island and make them play for real. To get off the island you most collect a set amount of chips from other players by killing them. Each and every person on the island was sent there by someone who wanted them to disappear.
My Thoughts:
I am currently on episode 9 and things have been getting more interesting with each and every episode. I can't wait til next week. The show does have a Batoru rowaiaru (Battle Royale) feel to it which I love.

Eureka Seven Final Thoughts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-zmMVZpeb8 (Fan made Trailer)
General Summary:
Renton Thurston is a fourteen year boy growing up in a very dull place called Bell Forest. Renton is the son of Adrock Thurston a researcher for the military who died in a testing accident, saving the world when Renton was very young. With little to do in his small town Renton takes up a sport called Lifting. One of his role models is a legendary lifter named Holland. Holland is the leader of the renegade group Gekkostate. One day a member of the Gekko by the name of Eureka crashes her mech into his room. The world as he knows it is forever turned upside down.
Why You Should Watch:
I would highly recommend this show to anyone who loves a romance story with a nice touch of action. Although the world is completely different from ours Dai Sato and the rest of the team made it extremely easy to develop a deep connection with most of the characters. With each episode you see each character slowly grow as if you where aboard the Gekko with them. The sound track is awesome with works from Supercar, Bivattchee, Flow, Denki Groove, and many others. If you haven't seen this series yet the first two episodes may bore you bit. At least that's the experience I had when I first saw it or introduced it to others but they are important. Also don't fret over Sub v.s Dub with this show the dialog pretty much stays the same. I have watched Euerka Seven about 10 times half Subbed and half Dubbed.
Final Thoughts:
I have not fully read the manga so I can't tell you witch is better but the anime does have a completely different approach to the story. The same with the movie and Eureka Seven Ao (will cover another day).
With that being said the anime alone is awesome. It does get a little confusing here and there but other than that I have no complaints! Besides the fact that the "sequel" Ao isn't really clear on what was kept from the original story and what got the boot (If you have seen Eureka Seven take a look at Ao episode 0 - New Order to understand what I mean). Watching Eureka with others no matter if they didn't like anime or didn't like the genre, everyone pretty much reacted the same to the show.

K (K TV series, Project K) First Impressions.
General Summary
So the show takes place in Japan where a group of different
gangs represented by color have very destructive powers. So far the origins of
the different gangs and abilities are unknown. The main character Yashiro Isana who seems like a
free spirited high school student until, two of the gangs are looking for him. A
member of HOMRA (red gang) was murdered and the killer, claiming to be the Colorless
King, looks very identical to Yashiro and it’s unclear if he is innocent or
guilty. Keep in mind the event was caught on film. To make things worse a
modern samurai by the name of Kuroh Yatogami was giving the task of finding the Colorless
King and to slay him if he was deemed evil.
My Thoughts
So far I am happy with the show. There’s enough action (so
far) so don’t worry about the show moving too slow. The character development
was done perfectly, although the series is only on episode 8. You will encounter a lot of the cast quickly but each character stands out. There’s some
humor and suspense but each episode has been important to the story (thus far). Some
of the music has a nice Nujabes feel to it which is awesome.
