Tokyo Ghoul

Summary:

Ken Kaneki, a college student who receives organ donations from a ghoul, a human-like creature that hunts and devours human flesh, after he is critically injured. He must deal with life as a half-human/half-ghoul, including interacting with ghoul society and its conflicting factions, while striving to keep his identity secret from other humans.

My Thoughts:

Four episodes in and I'm enjoying this show so far. Excellent plot and besides the first episode its very fast pace. Add to your must watch list.

Watch Episode 1

Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) and Shonan Junai Gumi

General Summary:

GTO focuses on the the story of ex gang member Eikichi Onizuka, who becomes a teacher at a private high school called Holy Forest Academy. His is assigned to a class full of troubled students such as: a girl who knows too much, a boy who is constantly abused by a group of girls and a bunch of other troubling cases. The problem is the whole class has stigma against teachers. Through-out the series Onizuka tries to help everyone although his tactics are sometimes extreme. BTW- Shonan Junai Gumi follows Eikichi's life when he is in his teens.

My Thoughts:

This is a must see classic. Hands down. You could probably match at least half the students in Onizuka's class with people you know in school. I can assure you that after you watch this series you are going to wish you had a teacher at least half as cool as Onizuka!
